Ivanhoe is probably the most famous Manor in the world. The name Ivanhoe immediately recall at the mind Chivalry and knights... The territory of the Manor is also chivalric, with vast spaces ... it has been declared officially "place of outstanding beauty". This Manor has a long History. The Winchester Rolls, detailing the first 500 years of this Manor, (and also of other ones) have been declared UK UNESCO heritage. Receiving a knightly honorifency with the seal of the Manor of Ivanhoe is like for a couple marrying themselves in the house of Romeo and Giulietta. The 54th Lord of Ivanhoe is proud of such a name, known everywhere. The Ivanhoe name itself is as a synonimous for high level chivalry. But in chivalry regalia and titles within the Order are just the visible symbols of a personal commitment.
The actual Lord of Ivanhoe endorses and hosts orders that takes in importance a chivalric work that should be also personal and initiatic and based on authentic teachings. For people that want to do high level work.
The Orders parrained by the Lord of Ivanhoe grow by nominating worthy individuals for membership. Nomination for membership in an Order recognizes and celebrates achievements both inside (personal growth) and as well outside (achievements).
Membership is an honour that will only be awarded to people who deserve it; they should be people who have changed things for the better and have changed something in themselves. People that can in some way be an exemple to the other fellow human beings.
If you are not yet in a chivalric order but you are searching for such ideals, or if you are already in a chivalric order and you want to learn more, please take contact with this Manor.
We can present you to some of the parrained orders.

The Knights Templar of Ivanhoe are a group that preserve the Ideals and the Symbols of the Temple. They pertain fully to the Knight Templar Order but they are at the same time a high level autonomous research Commandery.
They work under the regency and the guide of the Lord of Ivanhoe, working inside the international Grand Priory Charlemagne, with the goal of working on the inner meaning of chivalry and unveil to his participants the real secrets of the organization, symbols and practices that were once transmitted through poems and romans and that you can find in part explained in the section on chivalric studies.
The Order of the Temple, or "Knights Templar," is 900 years old, and rich in history. Led by the Frenchman Hughes de Payens, the Knights Templar organization was founded in 1118. On January 13, 1128, Pope Honorius II grants a papal sanction to the military order known as the Knights Templar, declaring it to be an army of God. For a while, the Templars had only nine members, mostly due to their rigid rules. In 1127, new promotional efforts convinced many more noblemen to join the order, gradually increasing its size and influence. They banded together as the first religious / military Order of Knighthood, initially formed to protect Christian pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. Later they became the first soldier / monks of the ancient Christian (Roman Catholic) Church, wrestling the Holy Land from the Islamic Saracens, and helping establish and maintain the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem for almost two hundred years. This was the occasion for contacts and absorption of ancient knowledges still present in these times in Palestine. The Order was later suppressed by the same Church of Rome it protected, under the hands of a greedy French King controlling a weak French Pope. Instead of dying (as is incorrectly reported by many main-line historians), the Order instead secularized and continued its existence in secret. Its ideas at least continued. The Arthurian legends of the Holy Grail, written by the Templars themselves, preserved the chivalric ideals and esoteric values of the Templar Order, and carried its knightly and priestly reputation as “warrior monks” into the present day. It resurfaced privately in France, and became fully public in 1804 with historical documentation of its continued-but-secret previous existence. In the ancient Statutes of the order membership was hereditary, and in 1804 many ancient templar families were present in the order. The Knights Templar Order was recognised by Napoleon III. This Templar Organization is now international with branches in almost all countries of the world . Indirectly, the Vatican itself validates these organization as it tried to absorb one of these branches as Catholic templars. But in reality the true templar Order is independent. A true, historical Order of Chivalric Knighthood, now entering both men and women to membership as Knights and Dames.
An ancient decoration for people working in magnetism. It is a "Magnetic Grade" accompanied by specific instructions.
The Order of Chivalric Merit of the Lordship of Ivanhoe is an honour bestowed under the authority of the historic Lordship of Ivanhoe, a title recognised under British law and rooted in nearly a thousand years of tradition. Established by Dr. Marco Paret, current Lord of the Manor of Ivanhoe, the Order serves as a contemporary expression of the manor’s ancient rights and customs.
The Order seeks individuals who demonstrate a sincere interest in true esotericism and authentic chivalry—not merely in its external forms but as a profound path of personal and spiritual development. It is open to those who have previously participated in courses led by the Lord of Ivanhoe himself, as well as others genuinely devoted to these values.
Membership in the Order offers significant benefits, including formal initiation into a genuine inner chivalric lineage and the privilege of using this distinction publicly. Members are provided with a structured initiatic path, exclusive teachings, and practices drawn from authentic esoteric traditions, carefully preserved through the centuries by reserved societies such as select Masonic and Templar lineages. Participation in the Order represents a tangible connection to the original foundations of esoteric and chivalric wisdom.
Members of the Order receive formal investiture, official diplomas, the right to use the Order's insignia, and the privilege of using official post-nominal letters (OCM). They also gain access to exclusive events and a distinguished network dedicated to personal elevation, ethical living, and cultural heritage preservation.
Detailed statutes govern the operations of the Order, ensuring legality, transparency, and authenticity. Its primary aim is to preserve and transmit timeless ideals such as personal integrity, ethical conduct, inner growth, and the true spirit of chivalry.
By becoming part of this Order, members publicly affirm their commitment to preserving the rich heritage and timeless values represented by the illustrious name and historic depth of the Lordship of Ivanhoe.
The legitimacy of the Order of Chivalric Merit of the Lordship of Ivanhoe derives from the recognised historic and legal status of the Lordship itself, the unbroken transmission of the traditional accolade (Ordo), and the adherence to an ethical and spiritual framework rooted in centuries of chivalric tradition.
